Bryan Appell founded Appell Striping in 2001 with a single striping machine and a commitment to raising the bar in pavement maintenance. What started as a small Long Island operation grew steadily as Bryan earned a reputation for reliable, professional work — eventually expanding services to include sealcoating, pothole repair, and warehouse striping across the country.
Bryan's brother Michael joined the business, bringing sharp operational expertise and helping build out a national accounts program that now manages relationships with hundreds of commercial clients. In 2023, the brothers began franchising to bring their systems and account infrastructure to local operators nationwide. Today, Appell has franchise territories open across multiple states and partnered with FranDevCo in 2025 to accelerate its next phase of growth.

Appell maintains corporate relationships with hundreds of commercial property managers and national chains, routing qualified jobs directly to local franchisees.
